Born, raised and classically trained as a chef in the South of France, Gui has always been passionately influenced by food, its culture and aesthetics.
First and foremost Gui is a professional chef. However, he has always been interested in documenting the beauty of food. A self-taught photographer, he started with argentic black & white (winning awards along the way!) and experimenting with medium format and camera obscura at a time when digital just wasn’t an option.

Gui has been working as a chef, and kept a parallel passion for photography, until his work in the kitchen and the photo studio naturally evolved towards food photography. Today, his work has been published in a variety of culinary books, magazines, newspapers, and online publications. He is available for freelance work, projects and assignments.
