Hey, Chef Gui here. Bear with me while I tell you my life story. 🙂

I’m a Florida-based ACF Certified Executive Chef, published author and the owner of a couple of food-related companies.

I published my first book, The Chef’s Répertoire, in 2010. The Chef’s Repertoire has won a Cordon d’Or International Culinary Award for Best Culinary Literature.

I have also just released my new cookbook: Eat More Burn More™, a collection of 100 delicious recipes for anyone interested in good food and staying fit.

I was born, raised and classically trained as a chef in France, traveled extensively, working in restaurants around the world. I speak 4 languages fluently.

Settling in Tampa Bay in 1999, the Chef Gui team have been catering high-end private events for the last 15 years. With an exclusive client base, and media recognition, our team became a recognized landmark in the Tampa Bay culinary scene.

I have extensive experience as a public speaker in the culinary field, and I’m hired regularly to lecture at conferences across the country, most notably for the American Culinary Federation, the Institute of Food Technologists, or the International Association of Culinary Professionals. Topics have included Molecular Gastronomy, Sous-vide Cooking, Food Plating, Food Photography, Ethnic Cuisine, Fitness Cooking, as well as more general topics.

My culinary style can be best described as modern, authentic cuisine with slight influences from Provence and elsewhere.  Rustic yet elegant, my food is said to embody simplicity of taste, authentic ingredients and sharp presentations. I also focus on sound nutrition and a very natural way of cooking and eating.

I live in Tampa Bay with my wife Carissa and our five children.
