Margaret goes Asian

Margaret of Tampa is the root participant for Helen’s Asian Kitchen: Easy Chinese Stir-Fries

She made Spicy Beef Shreds with Carrots and Celery and is passing the Itinerant Cookbook to Noel of Tampa.

“I made the spicy beef stir fry on a week night after work- the prep time was mostly spent cutting up the meat and vegetables.
I really was not able to shred the flank steak as much as the picture showed.
I added some stock as there was not much sauce. I used a minimum of red flakes- and so the dish could certainly have been spicier.

We had great fun taking the pictures and used a Japanese ( although I recognize the recipe is Chinese ) bowl for presentation.
The bowl was given to me by my grandmother and was bought by her in Japan.
The flowers seemed also to have the right aura- and my boyfriend had just bought them for me.
My dog ate a few pieces of the flank steak
And my boyfriend and I enjoyed the dish and decided to eat with chopsticks.
It was easy to make, quick and a perfect week night recipe.”
